If you’re a normal American seeing the $7 per gallon gas prices, the border crisis, the nightmare in Afghanistan, the dystopian tyranny coming out of Washington, DC, you’ve probably been a little too busy to notice that our world elites had another one of those events where they all fly their private planes to a conference where they get told by teen activist star Greta Thunberg that the world is gonna end soon because of average people’s selfish consumptions.

This week, 30,000 people flew to Scotland for the UN’s COP26 climate conference, and of course, at least 52 of the hundreds of planes used to shuttle the climate activists, like Jeff Bezos, were private planes. And they say that climate change is a super serious issue that is going to kill us all!

Conservative predictions say the carbon dioxide released just from these private planes equals the amount emitted by sixteen hundred people in a whole year. They clearly take this world-ending threat seriously!

Matt Finch, an activist from the Transport and Environment campaign group, pointed out this hypocrisy by saying, quote, “it cannot be stressed enough how bad private jets are for the environment, it is the worst way to travel, by miles.”

They can travel in private planes to their “save the world” conferences, but it’s us average Americans who are selfish for eating beef, or driving a truck or even daring to want to live in a place where you have to drive from location to location.

If you ask me, the way these elites ignore their own rules and scary threats of impending doom reminds me a lot of COVID-19 and the way the rich and powerful don’t comply with their own rules THEY pass as “safety measures.” It also reminds me of COVID-19 because of the way all of our world leaders continue to say that climate change is a GLOBAL CRISIS!

President Joe Biden even said climate change is an existential threat to humanity. So if they were willing to do what they did during a pandemic just to stop a virus with a 99 percent survival rate, imagine what they plan to do for climate change if they are saying it’s going to lead to the end of humanity unless it’s solved.

Beyond the hypocrisy and fearmongering of the population into obedience, some other noteworthy things happened at this conference. President Joe Biden apparently fell asleep during the opening speech and a video came out of Greta Thunberg chanting “you can shove your climate crisis up your ass,” which was pretty entertaining to watch.
