Josie Mitzel
Josie Mitzel is the College Administrative Director at Turning Point USA. Born and raised in Colorado, Josie grew up in a traditional household where hard work and earning one’s achievements were deeply valued, and participation trophies were not part of the family ethos. She attended The University of Arizona, earning an undergraduate degree in Law with a minor in Spanish, and during her university years held leadership roles as Vice President of Recruitment and Chapter President of the Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega.
Initially working as a Personal Injury Paralegal after graduation she had aspirations to be an attorney. Josie pivoted her career path due to COVID-19 which landed her back in the Desert where she left the legal field and started at TPUSA as a Field Program Administrator. She progressed to Senior Field Program Administrator, and Administrative Manager and now serves as College Administrative Director. Having significantly elevated TPUSA Students’ Social Media presence during her tenure, Josie’s professional journey highlights her adaptability and commitment to achieving organizational excellence.
