Dr. Sebastian Gorka
Sebastian Gorka Ph.D. served most recently as Deputy Assistant and Strategist to President Donald J. Trump. He is the author of the New York Times bestseller, Defeating Jihad: the Winnable War.
Prior to working in the White House, he held the General Horner Chair of Military Theory at the Marine Corps University and was Associate Dean for Congressional Affairs and Relations to the Special Operations Community at National Defense University in Washington, D.C. He has taught at Georgetown University and served as a policy analyst with the RAND Corporation.
Born in the United Kingdom to parents who escaped Communist Hungary, Sebastian served as a reserve member of the British Army’s Intelligence and Security Group (V) and now is a U.S. citizen. In 2012 he was awarded the Joint Civilian Service Commendation by US Special Operations Command.
Dr. Gorka appears frequently in the international media, including the BBC, FOX, Sky News, CNN, and MSNBC. He has briefed the CIA, FBI, DIA, US Army Special Operations Command, and the Navy SEALS, testified before Congress, and served as an expert for the prosecution in the Boston Marathon bombing trial.
